Write
Your Own Grant
In
Just Two Days
There are Education Grants, Business Grants, Development Grants, Improvement
Grants, and Various Other Type Grants.
All Grants must be written and packaged to “FIT” the
requirements of the funding entity, whether it is a government agency or
private individual or foundation.
In this seminar you must write your grant to exemplify your desires
to create and serve while supporting your ability to do so by revealing your
skills and “How To” capabilities.
We
will do the following in the seminar:
1. Plan and prepare an overview of the type grant
you want and what you will do with grant.
2. Do some general research of potential sources
for your type grant. You will be given several sources that may fund your type
of grant (Some research may also be done after class for you can submit your
grant request to more than one Funder)
3. Fill out an actual application to or for a
potential Funder.
4. Define and outline what materials are needed
from the Grant and a timeline to perform.
5. Create A Proposed Budget and three (3) Year
Projection of the proposed project.
6. Write a Proposal for the Grant
7. Package the Proposal to optimize and
“brand” your capabilities and abilities.
8. Package the Proposal in a Specific Order for
ease of review and evaluation of the Funder(s).
9. Select one or more Funders that you will submit
your grant request to.
10. Create a prototype in class that you will copy
onto high quality paper for final submittal after completion of class.
This seminar takes you beyond the HOW to Write a Grant directly into the
actual process of writing your grant.
This seminar is more than a Manual for Writing a Grant because it is an
actual class wherein you write your own grant in just two (2) days.
YES, you will follow a system and write your GRANT
in the class, along with the other students. As such class size is small to
insure personal help from the Facilitator.
YES, there is much money available for many
different kinds of service.
YES, there are private individuals, organizations,
civic organizations and Government organizations and mandated agencies of the
government that actually Fund Grants.
Specific Information is needed in your grant request to the entity that you
request a grant from. Indeed some organizations have their own unique form and
information specific to their Grant funding.
In this class you will write your grant in a form that is standard to all
FUNDERS (the entity or person giving the money as a grant of loan). There is a
format that all FUNDERS follow for ease of reviewing, evaluating and funding a
request for a grant.
In this class you will write your grant in the necessary format and provide
information that is standard to all requests for grants. In addition you may
discover you must transfer the information to forms on a dedicated website for
a specific Funder.
1. You will learn the different types of Grants and
Loans and How to search for them and even many places to search and locate
them.
2. You will learn why you need a cover letter and
proposal.
3. You must present your request in a short and
concise manner.
4. You must write a compelling description of the
proposed project.
5. You must write project details.
6. You must write details about you and your
organization.
7. You must create a proposed budget.
8. You must summarize you proposal into a format
that reveals all details and how the various components make a whole.
9. You must create compelling and supportive
attachments such as details of what you intend to build or how you intend to
serve.
You will write it all in the class from a Table of Contents to the
actual Grant Request and its various components.
I WILL HELP EACH OF YOU INDIVIDUALLY and as a GROUP.
